The city's Department of Education has agreed to pay $35,000 to the family of a preteen girl who was beat up in class. The settlement agreement, filed Tuesday in state Supreme Court, stems from an incident last fall at Junior High School 80, which is on Mosholu Parkway in the Bronx.
