A Tale (Tail?) of Two Crayfish Fests
Wondering where to celebrate your favorite crustacean this month? Sure, Aquavit has its annual Crayfish Festival for two weeks, from August 9 to 14 and 16 to 21. And, yes, the deal includes a half pound of peel-and-eat crayfish, plus an endless crayfish smorgasbord for $28 a head in the Bistro for lunch and $35 for dinner.
For one day -- and one day only -- you can chow down on all-you-can-eat crayfish for $10 at Ikea's annual Crayfish Party. Kids, with their tiny bellies, can fill up on crawdads for just two-fitty. And you can stock up on frozen meatballs and assembly-required cheap furniture while you're at it.
