Upper West Side grocery store Westside Market NYC has launched New York City's first grocery aisle for men. A relief for shopping-challenged and refuse-to-bring-a-list men, it has all the shopping essentials that dudes apparently need. It's name? Aisle of Man.
"It's your essentials," Ian Joskowitz, chief operating officer of Westside Market NYC told the NYPost. "It's your water, alcohol, soaps, shampoos, deodorants, razors.
The idea was inspired after Joskowitz and the store's CEO read an ESPN study which said that up to 31 percent of men are shopping for their families, up from 14 percent in the 1980s.
If the aisle is a success, Westside Market plans on expanding the idea to their other locations.
