And the Winner of the Brooklyn Pour's Fan Favorite Award Is...
We liked Grimm. You liked...
Grimm Artisanal Ale via Facebook
What was your favorite brew at last weekend's Brooklyn Pour? That was the question we asked you as you
stumbled sauntered out the door post-tasting in our quest to crown a fan favorite at the Fort Greene craft beer event.
Well, we've tallied your votes, and we have a winner.
You picked the the Kind IPA and the Rochestafarian Wee Heavy (a Scotch ale) from Rochester's Three Heads Brewing; coming in at a close second was 508 Gastrobrewery from right here in New York City, which poured the 508 Beauty Booty Blonde and 508 Love Jones, a pair of blonde ales.
If pressed to pick our Fork favorite, by the way, we'd select Grimm Artisanal Ales. The new brewery specializes in innovative one-offs, and we've been seeing it in our favorite beer establishments all over town. We really liked the biere de miel the brewery poured at the tasting, and we're very much looking forward to seeing what that crew does next.
