Artie's Delicatessen to Spawn Across the City
Artie's Delicatessen has been serving obese Reuben sandwiches to the Upper West Side for the past decade. Now, it's set to expand its reach beyond the realm of Upper Broadway.
Crain's reports that the Alicart Restaurant Group, which owns Artie's (as well as Carmine's), has just sold the restaurant to Tuzia Feldman, a businessman who wants to open three or four more locations of the deli across the city. Feldman signed a 15-year lease for the original location, ensuring that the deli won't be in need of saving anytime soon.
