More than sixty coffee and tea specialists will gather in Greenpoint to pour guests the perfect cup of caffeine. Seminars will include discussions about Turkish coffee, cold brew, and matcha. There's a latte-art contest scheduled for Saturday, and food will be available for purchase throughout the weekend. Cocktail Magic, Weylin B. Seymour's, 175 Broadway, Brooklyn, Saturday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Snag a signature or specialty cocktail from a lineup of top mixologists at this evening affair, which includes snacks from Roberta's. Participating bars include Attaboy, Dead Rabbit, and PDT among others. Tickets, which include food and drink, start $124.50 and can be secured here.
Macaron Day, Multiple Locations, Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bakeries like Francois Payard are offering one free macaron to anyone who mentions "Macaron Day" this Sunday. Twenty locations, including Macaron Parlour and Woops!, will also be participating. Additional macaron purchases will go to benefit City Harvest.
Brooklyn Meatball Takedown, Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, 514 Union Street, Brooklyn, Sunday, 12 p.m.
This Sunday, chefs from a variety of backgrounds will compete for glory, bragging rights, and prizes in the Brooklyn Meatball Takedown. Tickets are $20 and include unlimited samples. Reserve them here.
Pizza-Making Class, Pizza Beach LES, 167 Orchard Street, Sunday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Starting this weekend, Pizza Beach is offering a new pizza-making class. On Sunday nights, guests can choose to make any pizza on the restaurant's menu or customize their own. Tickets are $64.29 and include two hours of unlimited pizza, wine, and salad. Reserve them here.
