Taste Of Tribeca 2016

The Triangle Below Canal's top restaurants are teaming up for the 22nd annual Taste of Tribeca. This year's lineup features neighborhood fixtures like Bubby's, Bouley, and the Odeon. General admission — which includes a tasting card good for six tastes of any dishes — starts at $45 in advance and $55 on the day of the event. Reserve yours here.
Essex Street Market Block Party

Essex Street Market is celebrating its 76th birthday with a block party bash. Pushcarts, grills, and picnic tables will line Essex Street, along with grub from Saxelby Cheesemongers and Arancini Bros. Restaurants like Pies 'n' Thighs, the Fat Radish, and Ice & Vice will also showcase a selection of bites, including a special ice cream flavor modeled after the market itself. The event also includes free tours about the building's history and future renovations planned for Essex Street Market.
Book Signing and Pizza Party
Emily (919 Fulton Avenue, Brooklyn)
Saturday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Ken Forkish of Portland, Oregon, will throw a party for the release of his latest book, The Elements of Pizza, with a party at Emily. Pizzas featured in the book — Hawaiian, Pomodoro Royale (with cheese!), and more — will be free to sample. Books, wine, and beer will also be available for purchase. The event is free to attend.
The Good Fork Turns Ten
The Good Fork (391 Van Brunt Street, Brooklyn)
Sunday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Good Fork will kick off a series of ten-year anniversary events with a champagne pig roast in the garden this Sunday. For $25, guests can grab a glass of champagne, along with a plate of pork and side dishes. All tickets will be sold at the door, and the Good Fork's anniversary events will run until June 16. The party also doubles as the official opening of Das Parakeet beer bar next to the Good Fork's garden.
