Birdie's Gives Way to a Little Piggy
Roast beef comes to First Avenue.
Birdie's flew the coop last September, and now it looks like a Little Piggy has arrived to take its place.
Yesterday afternoon, a guy on a ladder was busy putting up a sign for This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef, suggesting that where fried chicken once ruled the roost, cows and possibly pigs will follow. There's no indication that, like Birdie's, the Piggy people will make any gestures to win over the vegans, but maybe they'll give Arby's a run for its money.
