A Williamsburg bar opened earlier this month from Alla Lapushchik, the owner of Post Office, Eater reported. OTB takes its name and theme from racetrack-betting parlors. While some cocktails are classic -- Old Fashioneds and Manhattans -- a "Modern" menu also offers fresh concoctions like a Turkey Jerky or a Mary Fizz. A dining menu from former Ssäm Bar chef Sam Glinn will feature frog legs, French onion soup, steak frites, and other hearty dishes with Parisian twists. 141 Broadway, Brooklyn

Fritzl's Lunch Box, the new Bushwick endeavor from Dan Ross-Leutwyler, the former chef of Bellwether and a Fatty Cue alum, opened last week. The small luncheonette offers American cuisine, like a kale salad with black radishes and tofu dressing; blood-sausage tamales; and pork ragu. All dishes are under $20. 173 Irving Ave.

Cafe Pistachio opened in Greenpoint last month, Greepointers learned. The casual eatery serves Turkish savory snacks like açma -- a Turkish-style bagel -- served with warm feta cheese; kumpirs (baked potatoes with various toppings); and fresh-made yogurt. Madeleines and chocolate truffles are made in-house, and the coffee is from Coffee Labs Roasters. 114 Nassau Ave., Brooklyn
