Oktoberfest Celebrations, Multiple Locations, Friday through Sunday

After walking up a sweat at the Steuben Parade on Saturday, head to an Oktoberfest headquarters like Zum Schneider for an official after party full of steins and sausage. At Watermark Bar on Pier 15, guests can enjoy unlimited beer samplings during select hours throughout the weekend, with most beer priced at $8. Guests can also prove their holiday hotness at Ambrose Beer & Lobster Friday evening with a stein hoisting competition. At Loreley this Saturday, revelers can grab a free Hofbrau beer while chowing down on complimentary pork. Additional festival sites include Stone Street in the Financial District and "Blocktoberfest" in Fort Greene Brooklyn, where tickets start at $10 and can be purchased here.

New Late Night Specials, Hill Country Barbecue, 30 West 26 Street, Friday and Saturday, 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

To accompany a new late night music series, Hill Country is offering $3 PBRs, $5 well drinks, and a selection of food too, Guests can grab sliders, chili rubbed wings, and chips with queso, while additional drink specials include everything from $2 jello shots to $20 pitchers of margaritas.

Viva La Comida, 82 Street & Roosevelt Avenue, Queens, Saturday, 12 to 7 p.m.

Celebrate the diversity of ethnic food in Jackson Heights at this one day festival, which offers a day full of entertainment and eats. Guests can enjoy street eats from carts including the neighborhood favorite Arepa Lady and Mysttik Masaala, with a selection of restaurants and bakeries participating too. Hester Street Fair Southern Tailgate, Hester Street at Essex Street, Saturday, 11 a.m. until Game Finale

Break out the Tebow posters and head down to the Hester Street Fair for an SEC college football tailgate party. While watching the LSU and Auburn game on flat screens throughout the area, guests can enjoy bites from Georgia's Eastside BBQ, Booqoo Beignets, and the Queens Kickshaw. Tailgaters can also find plenty of Abita beer along with cornhole and beer pong tournaments throughout the day.

MeatyBoy Sandwich Pop Up and Rugby World Cup, The Musket Room, 265 Elizabeth Street, Sunday, 11:45 AM

Kick off the ruby world cup this weekend as New Zealand faces off against Argentina. Chef Matt Lambert is putting away the fine china and offering a special sandwich menu for the casual fan, with options like pork belly with apple slaw and chicharron and a country pate served hot-dog style. Sandwiches range from $11 to $13 - there's a vegetarian option as well - while beer, wine, and shrub sodas are also available. The pop up will be available throughout the tournament.
