3 Sheets Saloon, 134 West 3rd Street
This deal is a steal: On Wednesdays from 8 p.m. until closing, this Village bar offers $1 domestic mugs and $8 domestic pitchers. There's also a $4 bartender's choice special, and you can supplement your booze with one of many bar bites. Wednesday is no good? Fear not -- the bar offers a full line-up of daily specials, and no matter what, you'll drink cheaply.
Troost, 1011 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn
Oysters are the preferred snacks here, and a Thursday afternoon special nets you half a dozen plus a select drink for just 10 bucks. The bar also offers a $7 quick sips menu featuring spicy libations like jalapeño tequila and Japanese crab apple vodka. Look, too, for the $4 draft deal from 4 to 8 p.m., with some of the delicious brews on hand including Duvel and Captain Lawrence Liquid Gold.
Puffy's Tavern, 81 Hudson Street
If you can get out of the office for lunch -- and drinking on the job is no big deal -- this TriBeCa neighborhood spot offers a happy hour from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., when you can sip $3 domestic beers and $4 imports. The bar's second happy hour runs from 4 to 8 p.m., when you'll be privy to $5 drafts. This spot is also known for offering above average food options including Alidoro's specialty sandwiches.
Good Company, 10 Hope Street, Brooklyn
From 2 to 8 p.m., people really are in good company here with two-for-one specials on Coors Light drafts and well drinks.
