Checking Up on Wendy's 'Foie Gras Rossini' Burger

Curious about Wendy's Foie Gras Rossini burger? Sure you are.

C.B. Cebulski, the food-loving talent scout for Marvel Comics, recently gave it a go in Tokyo. And it was so rich, he couldn't manage more than two bites.

The $16 monster has been available in Japan since last December, after Wendy's spent $200 million on a Japanese expansion. In theory, the burger isn't so different from the classic, over-the-top French dish it's named for, Tournedos Rossini: an open-faced sandwich of butter-fried bread, filet mignon, foie gras, and truffles.
