Chocolate 'Enrobed' Baguette Slices From Pain Quotidien, Gift Suggestion #12
With their chocolate covered baguette slices, P.Q. has found a way to turn shit into Shinola.
Just because we're making Xmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa gift suggestions doesn't mean we can't make fun of the very gifts we're recommending. We're schizy that way. And here's a case in point.
Doubtlessly, your chocolate-loving friends (and, statistics show, 90 percent of chocoholics are female) have tried just about every other permutation of brown gold; here's another one they probably haven't tried.
I did a double take when I spotted these as I dashed into my Pain Quotidien for a loaf of bread -- thinly sliced, no doubt stale baguettes turned into a vehicle for chocolate, either light chocolate (boo!) or dark chocolate (yay!) with sea salt.
Not a bad stocking stuffer, or gift for the boss. I guarantee, it's much better than a bag of Hershey's kisses.
