Come Fly the Friendly Skies: Rotting Meat, Maggots Ground an Airplane
Here's an appetizing way to start the day: A US Airways flight was forced to return to the gate at the Atlanta airport yesterday after maggots started falling out of an overhead bin harboring a container of spoiled meat. There's no explanation for why, exactly, a passenger was traveling with spoiled meat, but it seems that his or her fellow travelers balked at the idea of sharing their flight with flesh-eating larvae. "It only takes one maggot to upset your world," one passenger told the AP. So true. So true.
