Peruvian cuisine and cocktails are the focus at this week-long pop-up in Chelsea Market, which puts the focus on Peruvian chefs and national products like pisco. In addition to live music and shopping throughout the week, from Thursday to Saturday, guests can snag a dinner-and-show package for $45. Driving Hungry: Reading and Q&A with Layne Mosler, McNally-Jackson Books, 52 Prince Street, Monday, 7 to 9 p.m.

If you're seeking inspiration for a food-focused summer road trip, Driving Hungry author Layne Mosler is hosting a discussion on how to find great meals in the most surprising places. Mosler, along with Vintage editor Tim O'Connell, will dive into how to take advantage of what's local and on-a-whim dining recommendations, all while touching on the author's adventures as a taxi driver in search of exotic dishes and destinations. Following the discussion, guests will have a chance to take part in a Q&A session.

Free Owl's Brew Happy Hour, 55 Gansevoort Street, Tuesday, 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Owl's Brew is hosting a complimentary happy hour featuring one cocktail for each of its four tea flavors.
