Crosby Connection Now Homeless, but Still Serving Sandwiches

Crosby Connection may have a lot of things going for it -- its meatball hero and turkey, brie, pear, and dill sub are but two -- but a permanent home sadly isn't one of them.

Eater has learned that for the third time in two years, the sandwich shop is being forced to move, this time from the 45 Bleecker Street theater, where it began selling its subs in April of last year. The theater is closed indefinitely thanks to a legal dustup with the landlord, and the sandwich counter has closed along with it.

Fortunately, there's reason to have hope: Crosby has apparently gone "underground," and, although they're without a storefront, they're still doing delivery and apparently have a Twitter feed where they're posting daily specials. We couldn't find it, but if they'll keep making sandwiches, then we'll keep the faith.
