Daddy Gaga's Joanne and Caffe Bene Open
Here are the latest newcomers to New York City's cutthroat dining scene. If you hear of any new openings or closings, let us know.
Lady Gaga's father and chef Art Smith's buzzy new restaurant, Joanne, is open on the Upper West Side. Though it's already been bashed by the Post's Steve Cuozzo, who reportedly snuck into friends-and-family night.
According to Grub Street, Korean import Caffe Bene is now open for Times Square tourists.
Our very own Robert Sietsema reports that Greenwich Village Mexican-sandwich shop Tortaria opened this week, bringing with it a lineup that includes a torta burger as well as taquitos.
