Even Closed, the John Dory Swims Against a Tide of Back Rent

For the John Dory, the end may be the beginning of even more trouble: The Daily News is reporting that Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich, who were both guarantors of the shuttered seafood restaurant, owe almost $75,000 in back rent to the building's landlord.
