Eye Candy From Mountain Bird, This Week's Reviewed Restaurant
All photos by Bradley Hawks
Gentrification has yet to hit certain blocks in Harlem, including the one that houses Mountain Bird (231 West 145th Street, 212-281-5752), the restaurant Zachary Feldman reviewed this week. And don't expect sweeping change to come from this restaurant: "While [chef] Tajima's fastidious, Old Guard-inspired Francophile cooking is indeed precious, at its heart, Mountain Bird serves the community. Families pepper the tables among local couples enjoying date night and food-loving Brooklyn adventurers." The concept, Feldman continues, is endearing.
Photographer Bradley Hawks brought back photos of Mountain Bird's food. Check out the eye candy here then head over and read Feldman's full review.
