False Intelligence: No Tiki Bar in Trump Soho

This morning, word from The Villager via Eater was that the new Trump Soho Hotel Condominium would house a tiki bar on the ground floor. Us tiki nerds, as Eater put it, got all excited. But a call to the Trump Soho's representatives yielded this information: No Zombie for you! Alas, the watering hole that will eventually live in the development sounds much less interesting--and more predictable--than any tiki spot.
The bar will be called Bazaar, and it's from Miami restaurant group KNR. All the details, straight from the company, right this way.
Quoth the representative:
"Created by the team behind South Beach's hottest night spots, Miami-based restaurant and hospitality group, KNR, the Trump SoHo New York's Bazaar will be the place to see and be seen while enjoying impeccable cocktails and playlists by renowned DJs. Luxuriously textured wood walls have a split-face finish, with a simple polished dark charcoal concrete floor continuing the raw and rich design elements in this posh lounge designed by Rockwell."
The place to see and be seen? Impeccable cocktails? Now we really need a Zombie, tout suite.
