Foodie Kill Shots: NYC's U.S. Open Restaurant Deals
The U.S. Open is approaching, and restaurants are already gearing up to accommodate tennis aficionados. Here's a roundup of a couple of deals in the city. Table Tennis Tournament at Whiskey Park Whiskey Park is pairing up with nonprofit group TopSpin in order to host a Table Tennis Tournament to benefit quality education in the United States. The event will be held on September 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The bar will be showing the men's final and women's doubles final matches on their multiple televisions as well as offering special U.S. Open cocktails. Fifty percent of the proceeds from all drinks purchased will go toward the charity. Participants will be signing up upon arrival and playing tournament-style. The winner will receive Gerber Group gift cards and merchandise donated by the New York Rangers. There will be no fee to participate, and 50 percent of the proceeds from drink sales during the tournament will be going toward the charity.
Discount at Spice Market Spice Market wants to celebrate with discounts. When you bring your U.S. Open ticket or ticket stub into dinner or lunch throughout the tournament, your table (of four or fewer) will receive 20 percent off food.
