Former Downtown Music Gallery Space to Become Yet Another Subway
Back in January, the Downtown Music Gallery left its digs at 342 Bowery for the greener pastures of Chinatown. Now, a new tenant is taking over the premises. And that tenant, according to both the work permit and the company's website, is Subway. Specifically, it will be the city's 134th Subway. There are eight more locations set to open throughout the city, which, if the current rate of growth is any indication, will soon smell solely of parbaked bread.
