Get In Those Last Summer Sips During "Drinks Day" at Smorgasburg
Did our recent list of the 10 Best Last Sips of Summer put you in the mood for some thirst-quenching goodness? Aren't lucky enough to be heading to the Hamptons this Labor Day weekend? Then get thee over to Smorgasburg this Saturday, when the outdoor food market will be celebrating its first-ever Drinks Day (postponed from last Saturday because of Hurricane Irene).
In addition to the Switzels mentioned in our roundup, you'll be able to sample fresh coconut juice from Bep, watermelon and tarragon soda from Brooklyn Soda Works, an alcohol-free Mexican sangria called Sangria Señorial from Cemita's, sugarcane juice from Dadar Station, a trio of lemonades from the Stand, and citrus-mint iced tea from Table Tales, plus many other juices, teas, sodas, and other liquids. Might be a good time to start that juicing diet, huh?
