Has Kurve Changed Its Name?

In October, it was noted that Kurve, Andy Yang's infamously nonsensical neon Thai restaurant on Second Avenue, had altered its service to include a daily, $7.95 all-you-can-eat buffet. But now, it looks like it's altered its name.

A walk by this morning revealed that the Kurve name is nowhere to be seen on the restaurant's facade, and the buffet sign now bears the Rhong-Tiam imprint. A call to the restaurant proved inconclusive, but given that it already tried to appropriate Rhong-Tiam's Michelin star as its own, it wouldn't be entirely surprising if Andy Yang was paving the way for Rhong-Tiam East.
