Hester Street Fair and Grub Street Teaming Up to Feed People Next Weekend
Sigmund Pretzels will stack 'em up next Saturday.
Perhaps it's no coincidence that "gourd" sounds so much like "gorge," because fall seems to have become synonymous with feeding events. To the season's already burgeoning roster (and waistlines) you can add one more: Next Saturday, October 16, the Hester Street Fair and Grub Street will join forces to put on the Grub Street Food Festival, a mash-up of regular fair attendees, food trucks, and restaurants. The 40 vendors will include everyone from An Choi to Purple Yam, Employees Only, and the Kelvin Natural Slush truck. Entry is free, meaning this thing will be crowded.
