How to Make Barbecue Chicken Wings From Virgil's
Virgil's BBQ Wings

With baseball playoffs and the NFL season in full swing, it's time for game-day food. Today we have for you a recipe for barbecue chicken wings courtesy of Virgil's Real Barbecue. The recipe yields 15 chicken wings.

Virgil's Barbecue Chicken Wings Serving: 15 wings

Ingredients: 15 to 20 chicken wings 1.5 ounces Virgil's dry rub 4 ounces butter 3 ounces hot sauce

Dry rub ingredients: 11 tablespoons sweet paprika 5 tablespoons granulated sugar 3 tablespoons chili powder 3 tablespoons dried onion flakes 3 tablespoons dried garlic flakes 3 tablespoons dried parsley flakes 2 tablespoons Kosher salt

Procedure 1. Mix the dry rub ingredients together and sprinkle enough over the wings to cover them. Set them in the fridge to marinate for 24 hours. 2. Remove wings from marinade and place on a sheet pan. Sprinkle with additional dry rub and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 4. Remove from the oven and toss with hot sauce and butter; serve hot.
