In a Boon for TV Nostalgists, Buttermilk Channel Will Be Closed Tomorrow
Straight outta Oahu
First, the bad news for Buttermilk Channel patrons: The restaurant will be closed tomorrow. And now, the good news for ladies (and more than a few gentlemen) of a certain age: It will be closed because of Tom Selleck. According to a message from the restaurant's owner, the man behind TV's most legendary mustache will be filming Blue Bloods, a show that CBS describes as "a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement." Selleck plays the New York City police commissioner -- one who may or may not have started his career as a lady-slaying private investigator in Hawaii.
