Jon Stewart on the Scientific Breakthrough of Lab-Grown Meat: "In Your Face, Penicillin!"
Scientists have (finally!) succeeded in growing meat in a lab using pig stem cells. So far, apparently, it tastes like "soggy pork."
It will be five years until the meat is suitable for sausage, according to researchers. That's right, said Jon Stewart on The Daily Show last night, it's "five years away from being anus-grade pork."
