Kurve Enjoying the Afterlife as a Billboard
Almost three months after it finally, officially closed its doors, Kurve/Rhong Tiam seems to have settled comfortably into the afterlife as a billboard for the neighboring bodega. Its entranceway has also become an ad hoc bedroom for the homeless. Even in death, the restaurant is oddly compelling, like a space ship crashed to earth and abandoned by its inhabitants. It's hard to imagine anything taking its place -- aside from, perhaps Mars 2112.
