Le Fooding Returns to NYC in September--Get Your Presale Tickets Right Here
Thirteen years ago, Le Fooding dropped on the Parisian dining scene, blowing up preconceived notions of dining with its celebration of messy, casual, egalitarian fare through carefully curated events. Four years ago, it descended on New York, and this year, it returns with Time Mach'Inn, a feast that examines food trends of the past 30 years over the course of one meal.
"We're poking a little fun at ourselves," says Anna Polonsky, the U.S. Associate Director of Le Fooding. "We're looking at this trendy idea of food and chefs becoming celebrities, and we're examining how that happened."
Courses will traipse through the fusion years with New Zealand chef Peter Gordon, the bistronomy (bistro) era with French chef Yves Camdeborde, and the farm-to-table age with Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli of Frankies Spuntino and Prime Meats. Jameson Black Barrel cocktails thematically paired to each course come from tenders like Tristan Willey of Booker & Dax, and some of the proceeds from the event benefit City Harvest, a NYC non-profit that retrieves unused food that would otherwise be wasted from local restaurants and uses it to feed the hungry. And as with Le Fooding events of the past, expect surprises in terms of gastronomic accoutrements, music, and atmosphere.
Tickets for the dinner, which takes place on September 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. at Res (372 Columbia Street in Red Hook), are $100, and they go on sale to the public in September.
We have special presale access just for you, though. Head on over to the Le Fooding website via this link, and you'll find that you can secure your spot right now.
