L'Ecole to Create a Bar Menu, Free Drinks for FitR Readers
L'Ecole, the restaurant of the French Culinary Institute, is launching a bar menu starting today, serving up French-inspired classics like a Gruyère bacon burger with bone marrow béarnaise, a charcuterie plate, and cavatelli with rock shrimp. But better yet -- the restaurant is offering Fork in the Road readers a free cocktail when they visit.
Indeed, L'Ecole (full disclosure -- I went to the French Culinary Institute) is offering readers of this blog a free cocktail on their first visit when they order any bar menu selection through March 15. The bar menu is only available at dinner, from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Just mention "Fork in the Road" when placing an order, and the drink is yours. Drinking for free has never been so easy.
