Mario Batali Delves Into his Genetics on PBS
On February 10th, Mario Batali will appear on Faces of America, the PBS series on the complex genealogy and genetics of prominent Americans, hosted by Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. (Yes, he of the beer summit.) In the preview, we learn that Batali had a French great grandfather named LaFramboise (the raspberry), and that he was teased as a kid for eating oxtails.
