Mark Iacono Is Free, but Lucali Is Still Closed
The Lucali stabbing saga continues today, as the Post reports that Brooklyn Criminal Court released Mark Iacono on his own recognizance yesterday.
Iacono, who was badly injured when he got into a knife fight last Friday with longtime acquaintance Benny Geritano, is being charged, along with Geritano, with attempted murder. Allegedly, their fight was over a woman.
But although Iacono has been released, Lucali is still closed, and there's no word on when it will reopen. In the meantime, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, along with the rest of the neighborhood, will have to go elsewhere for their wood-fired pies.
