Eagle Trading Company is Greenpoint's newest casual cafe. With offerings like a classic B.L.T., smoked ham, brie, and horseradish on a Balthazaar baguette, and Stone Street Coffee, the new spot on Eagle Street is meant to feel like it could plop down in any rural American town, reported Greenpointers. 258 Eagle St.

Kobeyaki, the (also Chipotle-esque) Japanese restaurant in Chelsea, will open a second location in the Garment District. The new spot will span over 2,000 feet said the Commercial Observer, and even though the lease is for 15 years, there's no opening date just yet. 110 W. 40th St.
