More Distilleries Coming to Our Holiday Spirits Event
The 80th anniversary of Prohibition seems like a momentous occasion to imbibe, and so we're throwing a party: Our inaugural Holiday Spirits tasting event descends on Studio Square (35-44 37th Street, Long Island City, 718-383-1001) on December 5, and with it comes a chance to taste your way through the finely crafted libations of many of this state's distilleries.
We've got a big lineup -- and some brand new additions.
We've already told you that you'll be able to taste pours and cocktails from Atsby Vermouth, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur, Breuckelen Distilling, Brooklyn Gin, Catskill Distilling Company, Cooperstown Distillery, Death's Door Spirits, Dutch's Spirits, El Buho Mezcal, Greenhook Ginsmiths, Jack from Brooklyn, Long Island Spirits, Nahmias et Fils Distillery, Owney's Rum, Tirado Distillery, and Tuthilltown Spirits
We've added to that formidable crew; Black Dirt Distilling (Pine Island, NY), Brooklyn Winery (Brooklyn, NY), Brotherhood, America's Oldest Winery (Washingtonville, NY), Finger Lakes Distilling (Finger Lakes, NY ), Scorpion Mezcal (New York, NY/Oaxaca), Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (Woodinville, WA), Van Brunt Stillhouse (Brooklyn, NY), and White Pike Whiskey (Finger Lakes, NY) will also pour at the event.
Your $50 general admission ticket nets you unlimited samples of those spirits plus complimentary appetizers and live music from The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn -- a 5-piece jazz, swing, and blues band -- and DJ Tim Martell, an MTV VMA Official after-party DJ and opener for massive acts like Beyonce and Robin Thicke. A $70 VIP ticket earns you early access to the party as well as a commemorative tote.
Get your tickets on the website, and if you're rounding up a group of 10 or more to hit this shindig, use HSPARTY at check out, and you'll get $5 off each entrance fee.
