New Amsterdam Market Will Spread the Love This Weekend
Beginning tomorrow at 11 a.m., New Amsterdam Market will hold its three-day Valentine's Day Market and Apothecary. The market, which runs until 6 p.m. daily, will offer the amorous and merely hungry vittles from vendors including Liddabit Sweets, Shandaken Bake, and the Bent Spoon. The latter will sell pints of thematically appropriate flavors like chocolate-covered strawberry sorbet and I'm Bitter Chocolate. There will also be workshops on such romantic pursuits as calligraphy and kombucha making (hey, works for some). The market and its accompanying workshops will be held at 224 Front Street; more information can be found here.
