New Roebling Inn in Brooklyn Heights Offers Brats, Brews, Pretzels
For 15 years, Jason Furlani managed the Brooklyn Inn, which made our list of the 10 best bars in Brooklyn. Yesterday, he opened up Roebling Inn on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn Heights.
It's a bar's bar--unlike at the Brooklyn Inn, there are televisions and a dart room--but attention has been paid to the libations and snacks. Reportedly, there are 16 beers on tap, many of them local favorites, like Sixpoint, and Long Island wines are offered. The kitchen turns out warming stuff like bratwurst, soft pretzels, and meat pies.
