North Square Will Now Pack You a Picnic Lunch
Calling all Washington Square Park ants.
Washington Square Park-goers will no longer need to brown-bag it. Not only is the park getting a new cupcake-and-milkshake food truck, but now North Square, still the only restaurant on the square, will pack you a picnic lunch box to enjoy in the sun.
Menu options include a chicken club, a crab and pear salad, a house-made lentil and veggie burger, or the restaurant's signature lamb slider, the Lamburgini, each served with coleslaw, fries, or chips, and a drink, for $15. As for securing a park bench among the mob of NYU students and tourists gawking at break-dancers, you're on your own.
