Restaurants and bars, they come and they go. Here are a few making their debuts and bowing out this week.

Thai restaurant Ama Ya on 4th Street near Avenue B appears to have shuttered. The windows are papered over and the phone is disconnected. [EV Grieve]

Al Diwan, a Lebanese restaurant on Avenue A and 13th Street, has given up the ghost. Percy's Tavern, described as a "Gaelic gastro pub," will take its place. [EV Grieve]

Bon Chon Chicken's "new concept" has opened on Fifth Avenue between 32nd and 33rd streets. At happy hour, the ordering counter turns into a bar. [Midtown Lunch]

The owners of Bocca Lupo and Nectar have opened Strong Place in Cobble Hill. Expect a raw bar, charcuterie, and craft beer. [Eater]

Blackburn Burger Bistro brings more gourmet burgers to Hell's Kitchen. It will also serve a crab and shrimp melt, various salads, and tandoori chicken with couscous. [Dmanburger via Eater]

Ditch Plains' Drop In pop-up at Brooklyn Bridge Park will have a limited menu of lobster rolls, mac-and-cheese-topped hot dogs, and wraps. [Time Out]

Bluebird Sky brings a neighborhood vibe to Little Chitaly. For now, they're open for breakfast and lunch only, serving fun sandwiches like peanut butter, banana, and honey. [Grub Street]

Darryl Strawberry has opened Strawberry's Sports Grill in Queens, specializing in nachos, chili, pulled pork sliders, spicy crayfish, burgers, steaks, ribs, and barbecued chicken. [NY Times]
