The East Village's Wai? Café has closed and will be replaced by Sa Aming Nayon, serving "authentic Filipino cuisine." [EV Grieve]

Umberto's Clam House in Little Italy has opened in new digs after closing last year. It can now be found smack in the middle of Tourist Lane at 132 Mulberry Street. [NYC The Blog]

The team from DeGrezia is opening Gotham 50, a modern American bistro with a late-night menu and, on some nights, live DJs. [TONY]

Lloyd's Carrot Cake gets its first outpost, a takeout counter in East Harlem. In addition to the legendary carrot, expect German chocolate, red velvet, and pineapple-coconut cakes. [TONY]

Matt Abramcyk's Tiny's in Tribeca is open for lunch. The menu features Italian-influenced options like a bay scallop crostini and a Tiny's Burger with pickled beets and a fried egg. [Eater]

LTO stands for Limited Time Only, a Lower East Side pop-up-themed restaurant featuring rotating guest chefs expected to run for a year. [TONY]

The Vault at Pfaff's, a new cocktail spot set in an old space that dates the 1850s, will be serving craft drinks and eats such as lamb chops and truffled mac-and-cheese. [UrbanDaddy]

The long-awaited new David Bouley resto, Brushstroke, has finally arrived. Chefs Isao Yamada and Hiroki Murashima will do traditional sushi, with cocktails. [Grub Street]

The team behind the Village Pourhouse and SideBar have debuted a new "contemporary brewhouse" called Little Town NYC in Union Square, doing craft beer and bar snacks. [Thrillist]
