News has broken that the Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel is closing at the end of July, following management getting sued by the hotel for its rowdy champagne brunches. [NY Times]

Baotique, the upscale Vietnamese Michael Huynh opened inside the Covet space in Midtown, has closed, as has Covet itself. [Eater]

Elote appears to have served its last in Williamsburg. There's graffiti on the door, and the phone is disconnected. [Zagat Buzz]

The Manhattan Diner, a Greek restaurant on the Upper West Side, is shuttering after 11 years in business to be replaced, reportedly, by a high-rise. [NY Times]

Baked by Melissa is now selling its $1 mini cupcakes on Seventh Avenue, between 38th and 39th streets. [Midtown Lunch]

Bento Burger, the Asian burger joint opening in the space formerly occupied by Marfa, will blast J-pop and serve $7-to-$9 cocktails. [Grub Street]

Bobby Werhane's redo of his Choptank space, Stivale, is complete, serving rustic Italian by chef Michael Berardino. [Zagat Buzz]

Rob Shamlian's new monster beer hall in Williamsburg, Spritzenhaus, is open for beers, with sausages by Prime Meats alum Rolf Weithofer starting mid-May. [NY Times]

Bronx mainstay Zero Otto Nove is getting a Manhattan outpost, offering its Salerno-inspired menu. [NY Times]
