Parents to Protest Bake Sale Ban by Holding a Bake-In at City Hall
They will march for (banana) bread and roses.
Weeks after the mayor's Panel for Educational Policy voted to uphold the bake sale ban in favor of letting kids peddle vending machine crap for cash, a group of parents is planning to hold a bake-in at City Hall to protest the new regulations. The Daily News reports that the protest will take place Thursday, March 18. While holding a bake-in probably won't jolt any common sense into the comically small minds of the mayor's minions, it will undoubtedly be the most appetizing protest held at City Hall in recent memory.
