Pig Island 2015, Erie Basin Park, 1 Beard Street, Brooklyn, Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you're in need of an Ikea trip, skip the Swedish meatballs for lunch and grab a pork dish instead. Pig Island 2015 is scheduled to include more than twenty chefs serving unique dishes, like Pig Guy NYC's Thomas Perone, who's offering a Greek-style pulled pork sandwich with feta and tzatziki. Additional participating chefs include representatives from Fleisher's Craft Butchery and pitmaster Robbie Richter. Tickets — $85 per person — include all the pork dishes you can eat as well as unlimited beer, wine, and whiskey; score one here.

FarePlate Irish Food and Drink Festival, Refinery Rooftop, 63 West 38th Street, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Instead of waiting until St. Patrick's Day, celebrate Irish culture with food and drinks from the Emerald Isle. Irish beef, cheeses, smoked salmon, and beers will all be offered for guests; there will also be demonstrations and discussions for guests looking to learn more about sourcing and sustainability for select products. Tickets are $50 and cover all food and drink throughout the event — reserve them here.

The Vendy Awards, Governors Island, Saturday, 12:30 to 5 p.m.

Feast on biryani, burgers, and cheong fun noodles among other global street fare at this annual all-you-can-eat awards show, which gathers the city's most popular food trucks in one place. This year's finalists for "The Vendy Cup" include the Snowday Food Truck and Hard Times Sundaes, while a new category for 2015 honors the best original drinks New Yorkers can find streetside. Ticket packages start at $100 for adults and include access to more than 25 street vendors as well as all-you-can-drink beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages; secure them here.

Ferragosto 2015, East 187th Street and Arthur Avenue, Bronx, Sunday, 12 to 6 p.m.

Celebrate tradition with a trip to the Bronx's Little Italy for an end-of-summer food crawl. Restaurants along Arthur Avenue, including Zero Otte Nove and Dominick's, are a few of the family-style spots that will be celebrating the end of harvest, while live music and Italian-inspired festivities are scheduled throughout the day.

Taste Williamsburg Greenpoint, East River State Park, 90 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.

Enjoy the best of local Williamsburg and Greenpoint eats at a block-party-style tasting displaying food from better than 40 restaurants and bars. Participating restaurants include a mix of old and new, including the Bedford, Maison Premiere, and Pasar Malam, as well as samples from local breweries and wineries. There are also a few neighborhood offerings, such as Fritzl's Lunch Box. Tickets start at $35 for food and drink packages; reserve your meal plan of choice here.
