Pumpkin Spice Latte Shortage At Starbucks
Well, this is awfully depressing. According to The Wall Street Journal, there has been a shortage of pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks. The seasonal drink debuted on September 4, but the craze has already drained supplies across the country.
Apparently baristas are hitting the street to search for stashes of the sauce at other stores and desperate folks are getting the syrup from eBay where the containers of syrup are selling for anywhere between $40 and $50.

Although there isn't any actual pumpkin in the product, fans describe the flavor as tasting like a sweet, liquid pumpkin pie with nutmeg, cinnamon, and a hint of clove.
"You guys do know it's just a drink, right?" Cynthia Smalls, a barista at a midtown Manhattan Starbucks told the Journal.
