Robyn Hitchcock's The Day Before Boxing Day: An Edible Christmas Story
Artist and musician Robyn Hitchcock's The Day Before Boxing Day (co-directed by Hannah Bird) tells the story of the first Christmas using stop-motion animation and a cast of vegetables.
With its haunting soundtrack and soft focus, it's a beautiful little piece of filmmaking. And it's not every day that you get to see a parsnip give birth to a Brussels sprout.
