Rock Stars Love Boring, Nutritious Food (Except for Courtney Love)
Ted Van Pelt
According to a story in Gourmet Live's new "Music Issue," rock stars now have the most boring diets of anyone you know (whole grains, ginger-infused water, potato chips in moderation). But if you read today's New York diet in Grub Street, Courtney Love comes to the rescue with suitably eccentric eating habits.
Every day I have my house manager, Hershey -- who I stole from the Mercer Hotel with André Balazs's blessing -- wake me up with a hot washcloth for my face, a leg rub, and a plate of toast soldiers.
And so it begins! Love loves Babbo, Brooklyn Fare, and pineapple upside-down cakes.
