Southern Hospitality, the Memphis barbecue restaurant cum preppy hangout, has thrown in the towel. The restaurant, owned by Trace Ayala, Etyan Sugerman, and Justin Timberlake, will no longer operate on the Upper East Side. The Denver location is still in business. [Eater]

Longing for some Boeuf a la Straganoff to keep you warm on this chilly day? Despite its collapsed-crane-centric location, the Russian Tea Room reopens for business for the first time since Sandy.

Downtown Brooklyn's Die Koelner Bierhalle is teaming up with Sion K├Âlsch on November 11 to host the Karnival Kickoff. The event, which celebrates the German beer festival Cologne Karnival, will feature 30 craft and 50 bottled beers.

The Australian pie crafting company, Pie Face NYC, will offer four Thanksgiving-specific dessert pies this holiday season. You can order apple, coconut custard, pecan, and pumpkin in advance of the bid day. Those looking to stuff the full meal under one puff pastry can pre-order the "full meal" pie, which features, yup, roasted turkey and stuffing with a side of mashed sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce.
