RYU Opening Snack Window, Scott Disick Will Be Serving
RYU, a Japanese restaurant in the meatpacking district by Scott Disick from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, is launching a snack window on September 8. And if you want to catch a glimpse of Kourtney Kardashian's squeeze, Disick himself will be serving at the window this Saturday.
The window, located on Greenwich Street, will feature a red light to notify passing patrons when the it opens.
RYU will offer to-go options including J-PoP (tempura shrimp, yuzu kosho, shishito peppers, and napa cabbage on a baguette, $10), pork tonkatsu (fried pork loin, Japanese mustard, and pickled shallot on Pullman bread, $11), teriyaki cheese steak (sirloin, teriyaki sauce, onions, peppers, and brie on a baguette, $12), and Furikake waffle fries with wasabi kewpie ($6). A special hand roll of the week will be added to the menu soon after the opening, and will be featured as an ever-changing "off-the-menu" item.
The window will be open every Thursday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. and midnight to 4 a.m.
