Grey Dog Carmine Street, the original location of this sandwich chainlet, has closed. A Mulberry Street branch is opening today. [Eater]

Holy Basil, in the East Village, was recently shut down by the DOH. It will apparently not be reopening: The space is for rent. [EV Grieve]

Toasties, near NYU, has closed its doors, reportedly due to nonpayment of some eight months in back rent. [NYU Local]
