Italian specialty foods market Agata & Valentina opened its second location in Union Square on Wednesday. The 25-seat café serves house-made Italian pastries, paninis, coffee, and tea in a setting reminiscent of an Italian cappuccino bar.

Tequileria Maya, a tequila bar and lounge from chef Richard Sandoval, opens on Wednesday, next door to the newly renovated Maya on the Upper East Side. It will feature 100 agave-based spirits, along with cocktails, a bottle-service program, and small plates from the Maya kitchen.
